Over 80 competitors braved poor weather conditions to participate in the Toronto Open, Winter 2012 competition this past weekend. It was the first Toronto area competition since the Canadian Open in August of 2011. The event went off very well in spite of a slow start due to the weather. But in the end, we finished on time, and everyone seemed to have a good time.
The final round of 3x3 was very close and quite exciting. In the end, it was Emily Wang that won the competition with an incredible average of 9.84 seconds. In second place was Eric Limeback with an average of 10.15, and finishing in third was Harris Chan with an average of 10.17.
Thanks again to everyone that came out to participate, help out, watch, and support these events. They are always a lot of fun, and we will look to hold another in the area very soon. Stay tuned to the site for announcements.
