Yesterday, the Toronto Open, Summer 2011 competition took place at Seneca. We used a new room for the competition, which made it a much different feel. Many thanks to all the cubers that helped out and as well as our dedicated volunteers that made the day run smoothly.
Harris Chan won the competition with an average of 10.59 in the final round. Eric Limeback came second with an average of 11.31, and Justin Jaffray rounded out the top three with a 11.54 average. Also of note, Bill Wang set two National Records, the first for 2x2x2 Average with a time of 2.61 seconds in the second round, and the second for Blindfolded with a best time of 56.18.
The next competition is the Canadian Open. We hope to see many of you there.
