Kristopher De Asis won the Vancouver Open, Winter 2013 with an average of 11.46 seconds. Ibrahim Vajgel-Shedid finished second (11.63) and Jacob Hutnyk finished third (12.75).

Bill Wang won the Toronto Open, Summer 2012 with an average of 10.42 seconds. Eric Limeback finished second (10.50) and Louis Cormier finished third (10.83).

Thanks to everyone that came out on Saturday. We'll shoot for another competition in the Fall. So stay tuned to the site.

Kevin Hays won the Vancouver Open, Summer 2012 with an average of 10.60 seconds. Jacob Hutnyk finished second (11.87) and Ibrahim Vajgel-Shedid finished third (12.31).

Of note, Kristopher De Asis set the World Record for the 5x5x5 single at 52.65 seconds, becoming the first Canadian to hold a non Magic related World Record. Congratulations to Kris!

Kevin Hays set more records in his impressive cubing career with the NAR average for 7x7x7 at 3:31.80.

The Toronto Open, Spring 2012 competition took place this past Saturday in Toronto. We had a good turn out, with some amazing times set from many people.

Bill Wang won the event with an average of 9.95 seconds in the final round of the 3x3x3 event. Harris Chan came second with an average of 10.08 and Thompson Clarke came third with an average of 11.17 seconds.

As usual, we'd like to thank all the volunteers, parents, competitors and everyone else that came out to spend the day with us. Look for another competition this summer in Toronto.

About 40 competitors came out over the May long weekend in Rockland, Ontario for the second annual National Capital Region competition.

Thompson Clarke won the event with an average of 11.28 seconds in the final round of the 3x3x3 event. Louis Cormier came second with an average of 11.60 and Julian David rounded out the top three with an average of 12.29 seconds.

A couple of National Averages were set that day. Also of note, Louis set the North American Record for single and average in the 3x3x3 With Feet event. For full results, click here
