The Vancouver Open Spring 2015 competition took place last weekend in Vancouver, BC. Anthony Brooks won the competition with an average of 9.34 seconds in the final round of 3x3x3. Jacob Hutnyk finished second averaging 11.01 and Daniel Chan finished third at 12.77.

We had a record turnout for the Toronto Open, Spring 2015 competition with 139 competitors. Bill Wang won the competition with an average of 8.05 in the final round of 3x3x3. Antoine Cantin came second with an average of 9.38 seconds and Harris Chan came third at 9.70 seconds.

We also had some records set, including a World Record. Congratulations to all the winners and record setters!

  • Antoine Cantin - 3x3x3 One-Handed Average (10.87)

David Hoar won the Atlantic Open 2015 with an average of 12.68 seconds. Eric Boudreau finished second at 13.09 and John-Ryan Goguen finished third at 15.36 seconds.

Bill Wang won the Toronto Open Winter 2015 with an average of 8.01 seconds. Antoine Cantin finished second (9.06) and Harris Chan finished third (9.50).

The VanCubing Winter 2014 competition took place this past weekend in Vancouver, BC. Anthony Brooks won the competition with an average of 8.85 seconds in the final round of 3x3x3. Jacob Hutnyk finished second averaging 10.48 and Daniel Chan finished third with 12.79.

The Toronto Open, Fall 2014 competition took place this past weekend in Toronto. The competition had 98 participants and contained an incredible number of fast cubers. We saw countless PBs, a NAR and even one WR.

In the end, Antoine Cantin won the competition with an average of 8.01 seconds in the final round. Bill Wang came second averaging 8.50 and Jonathan Tan Wei Xiat finished third with 9.37.

And special thanks to everyone that helped make the food drive a success! We donated over 60 units of food and $139. A total donation of $150 will be made to the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank on behalf of the canadianCUBING community!

Lastly, we just wanted to say that this competition was probably the most well run competition we have ever done. There were so many great people that jumped in to make the event run so smoothly. Without a doubt, Toronto has one of the best cubing communities in the world. Be proud!
